  • Degree in Social Communication from the National University of Córdoba, Argentina; Master's Degree in Culture Studies from the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, Ecuador Headquarters and Doctor in Social Sciences from the National University of Cuyo, Argentina. She currently works as a research professor in the Department of International Studies and Communication and holds the position of Teaching Coordinator (vice-rector) of FLACSO Sede Ecuador, where she also directed the Master's Program in Communication and Public Opinion for six years. She is a visiting professor of the Doctorate in Social Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires and has taught postgraduate courses in various universities in Ibero-America. She has published books and academic articles in international scientific journals on mass media, political communication, public opinion and communication policies. Her main lines of research are media and power, communication and collective action and political economy of communication.
