Biography

  • Between 2005 and 2009 she was a professor of the Diplomate Program of Projects of Public Policy and since 2015 is a researcher professor in the Department of Public Affairs at FLACSO Ecuador. She has a PhD in Social Sciences from FLACSO Ecuador and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy with a concentration in Development Management from the same university. In 2004, she won the Zonia Palán Award for best research work In her Master's thesis. Currently, she is working in a research on the processes of transformation in public policies to guarantee social rights in Latin America, especially the right to water and food. Between 2013 and 2015, she was a professor at the National Institute of Advanced Studies and at the Catholic University of Ecuador. Between 2005 and 2009 she was an official of the World Food Programme and an UN Adviser to the German Cooperation Agency.
