She is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of International Studies and Communication and a Senior Editor of the Oxford Encyclopedia of International Studies. She received her Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Southern California and her Masters in Political Science from New York University and in International Relations from FLACSO-Argentina. She has been a researcher at CONICET based in FLACSO-Argentina between 2011 and 2014. She has served as program coordinator of the FLACSO-International Studies Association Conferences organized in Buenos Aires in 2014 and in Quito in 2018. Her research has been published by International Studies Review, Colombia Internacional, CIDOB Magazine d'afers internacionals, Woodrow Wilson Center and publishers such as Springer and Routledge. Her research and teaching subjects focus on Latin American regionalism, the international political economy of the Global South, international trade and the BRICS. She has also been a Fullbright fellow, advisor to the Secretariat of Agriculture and the Secretariat of Industry and Trade Policy of Argentina, and a consultant in various organizations such as the World Bank, IDB, and UNDP.
