Las directoras se conocieron estudiando antropolog\u00eda en la Universidad de La Plata, Argentina. All\u00ed forjaron amistad, a la par que se incluyeron en el colectivo interdisciplinario de arte y salud mental \u201cEl Cisne del Arte\u201d. En este dispositivo realizaron varios talleres art\u00edsticos destinados a personas que atravesaron procesos de internaci\u00f3n psiqui\u00e1trica. En el 2012 emprendieron la realizaci\u00f3n del documental \u201cLos Fuegos Internos\u201d, el proyecto principal que llevaron a cabo juntas. Su formaci\u00f3n en antropolog\u00eda y su inter\u00e9s por el cine permitieron la articulaci\u00f3n de las herramientas aportadas por ambas disciplinas, alimentando el proceso de realizaci\u00f3n de este proyecto.<\/p>\n
